In news that should floor absolutely no one, Lee Hyori’s comeback is being delayed for a couple weeks… as of now. The Queen of Sexy has been on hiatus since 2010, during which she has spent her time since appearing on various television programs, saving various dogs and cats and protecting her boyfriend from being called Quasimodo (he’s not even ugly, but when you’re dealing with Lee Hyori, expectations will be raised). There was supposed to be a comeback last year but it got pushed back a couple of months, and then it was pushed back even further without any firm release date, until a couple of weeks ago when her representatives said that Lee Hyori had totally picked out her singles, and that they were totally filming music videos for songs that were totally going to see the light of day in early May. Now, you’ll just totally have to wait a couple more weeks to experience Lee Hyori’s sexiness due to… reasons. But that’s all you’ll have to wait. Totally:
Some unfortunate news coming out for those waiting for Lee Hyori‘s comeback. It has been announced that her return to the music scene has been postponed.
Lee Hyori’s agency B2M Entertainment told TV Daily, “Lee Hyori’s new album was to be released in the beginning of May, but it has been pushed back just a little to the last week of May.”
“The title track has been chosen and filming for the music video has begun. We are working hard to make sure that her comeback will be within the month of May.”
It’s becoming a bit of a running joke as of late, but in reality Lee Hyori will release something when she’s damn ready and the rest of the world will have to drool in anticipation. Because anticipation is running high around these parts.
