Myoui Mina, better known by her stage name Mina, is a Japanese K-Pop idol singer and dancer. She is best known for being a vocalist in JYP Entertainment’s future global phenomenon TWICE.
Like most of TWICE outside of political insurgent Tzuyu, not a whole lot has been written about Mina. A short Wikipedia entry states that she was born in San Antonio before moving to Japan as a baby. Her familiarity with dancing apparently comes from eleven years of ballet and that fact certainly helps explain her rise in JYPE’s trainee program, her eventual success on the reality show SIXTEEN and her triumphant debut with TWICE.
Yeah, there’s no reason to doubt that Mina will be a force of nature for years to come in K-Pop. TWICE supremacy, Mina supremacy.
