Heo Sol-Ji (better known by her stage name Solji) is a South Korean idol singer and dancer. She is best known for being the main vocalist of
Hani promotional band EXID.
Solji’s K-Pop career has taken some rather long and unexpected turns since she debuted in 2006 as a member of the ballad duo 2NB.
Solji’s voice is more full and mature than one often finds in K-Pop but she was polished enough to find work as a vocal trainer before eventually signing on with EXID where she would toil as the group’s main vocalist before Hani’s fan cams propelled the group to stardom with “Up and Down.” However, while “vocals” and “singing” may not be the first thing that pops into anyone’s head when EXID discussions start, (In my experience, EXID discussions generally boil down to “Hani, legs, legs, legs, Hani, legs, “UP AND DOWN,” Hani.”) Solji’s work on the microphone is actually pretty damn decent and well worth of some damn praise. Her lower register and big volume may not suit EXID’s recent hits as well as the ballad stuff that she debuted with but Solji can sing.
Yeah, she literally brings Hani to tears. Get on the Solji bandwagon already.
Like the rest of EXID, Solji is hot. So, she has that going for her.
Solji’s voice is so great that it can be heard from space.
Solji’s talents are so grand that they fill the universe’s ever expanding void.
Solji is so beautiful that she sends chills down gods’ spines.
Solji’s hotness could melt diamond into puddles of puppies.
Solji’s singing echoes through all the happier timelines in existence.
