Ahn Sohee, better known as Sohee, is a South Korean idol singer, actress, dancer, model and MC. She is best known for being the visual and former member of K-Pop girl group of yesteryear Wonder Girls.
Although the Wonder Girls’ careers had stalled in 2013, there was no real death knell for the group until December, when it was announced that Sohee’s contract with JYP Entertainment would be expiring. Simply put, Sohee was the first, second and third most emphasized element of the Wonder Girls and their prominent rise was largely due to Sohee’s cherubic looks (and Yubin’s… everything). Their fall may have been the fault of mismanagement and JYP’s obsession with the American market but Sohee has unsurprisingly bounced right back into the worlds of modeling and acting. She’s simply too talented in the spotlight to keep down for long. The Wonder Girls may be dead but Sohee ain’t going nowhere.
