So, yeah. How about that HyunA huh?
While most of the K-Pop world has been scrambling to get on HyunA’s train when it comes to sexy concepts, the girl somehow continues to find ways to separate herself from the pack time and time again.
First, there was “Change” which was flagged with a 19+ rating because HyunA’s hips were deemed dangerous to the minds of children or something.
Following that, the fantastic “Bubble Pop” got unnecessarily flagged for allegedly risque content as well.
Then there was the first Troublemaker promotions which only seemed to up the ante with all the crotch grabbing that K-Pop could handle at the time.
In a post “Troublemaker’ world, HyunA had pretty much solidified her reputation as the sex kitten of K-Pop. Then she struck the cosmic lottery by guest starring in a music video called “Gangnam Style” and saw her next solo release (the not very good) “Ice Cream” hit ten million views in four days.
She managed to top all that risque hype with her second installment in the Troublemaker anthologies, “Now,” which scored an “All-Kill” and featured photos that proved that when it came to a celebration of all things gloriously sexy, few could ever hope to match HyunA.
And now, the world must prepare itself for yet another HyunA solo release (and the tireless debates over what the acceptable level of sexiness is in K-Pop). Entitled “RED”, the track will drop on July 28th along with HyunA’s 3rd mini album “A Talk”. Unsurprisingly, it looks rather promising.
I am ready for the coming K-Pop rapture and all the tears that will come with it.
