If one didn’t know better, one would think that video editors in the K-Pop industry were some of the most incompetent people on the planet.
According to YG Entertainment, 2NE1 will delay its release of “Come Back Home” due to delays in the computer graphic work of the music video which is no way influenced by the fact that Girls’ Generation (SNSD) released their “Mr. Mr.” music video a couple of days ago. Nope, just a totally unfortunate coincidence:
We sincerely apologize that 2NE1’s music video of “COME BACK HOME” is being unexpectedly delayed due to the crew’s computer graphic work for the latter part of the clip.
We expect the music video release date to be Monday morning, but we will make an official announcement with precise date and time on YG LIFE.
We deeply appreciate your understanding.
You would think that YG could come up with a more creative reason for delaying their release (after delaying the Crush album to “celebrate CL’s birthday because that’s something that you certainly only remember to do at the last moment“) considering that SM Entertainment already used that excuse as a reason to butt its way into 2NE1’s release calendar.
So for those eagerly awaiting the sight of CL snarling at the camera while demanding that you “COME COME BABY COME COME”, you’ll have to wait until Monday.
Who knows anymore.
