In news which shouldn’t ever be THIS amusing, 2NE1 has now announced that they will delay the release of “Crush” from February 24th to the 26th in what has absolutely nothing to do with SNSD also delaying their release of “Mr. Mr.” due to “data corruption”.
“We have urgently postponed 2NE1’s 2nd album release date from the original schedule of 12am on February 24 to 12am on February 26. The offline album will be released on March 7 as planned. The reason for the urgent change of date is to release the album on a more special day instead, as CL’s birthday falls on February 26, especially because whopping three songs composed and written by CL for the first time are included in the 2nd album. I ask for your generosity and understanding for the change.”
Apparently, YG needed to think up something quick when SNSD announced that they would be releasing their new single on February 24th, the exact same day that 2NE1 was scheduled to release “Crush”.
The title track, “Come Back Home” is still scheduled to debut on February 28th until YG can find a distant relative of Dara’s family who’s birthday is in March to honor with a 2NE1 single. After that, expect SNSD to experience an unexplained power outage while filming some “much needed” re-shoots for “Mr. Mr.”
After months of delays and counter-delays, in a moment of weakness 2NE1 and SNSD will release their products at the same time and the split attention will allow Stellar to triumph with their sequel to “Marionette”, thus causing the meltdown of K-Pop and the end of the world.
