Han Seung-yeon is a South Korean idol, singer, dancer and actress. She is best known for being the main vocalist in K-Pop group of awesome; KARA.
Seungyeon is the main vocalist, a title which is well earned (out of KARA, it comes down to her and Gyuri and Seungyeon has lungs which belie her tiny frame that even Gyuri can’t match). She is also the very definition of cute. Her nicknames range the gauntlet from “Hammie”, a play on her last name and the cartoon Hamtaro because she’s just that adorable, and the fake maknae because of her baby face and small size, especially compared to the actual maknae of the group, Jiyoung. Seungyeon is not only cute though. Her voice booms with a vocal range of a rocker (‘Guilty‘ is so good, and gives a glimpse into what Seungyeon could easily do as a solo artist) and she can flip the switch and become devastatingly sexy as well. Her thighs are the stuff of legends and her smile can melt the coldest of hearts and reaffirm even the hardest of cynics’ faith in humanity. All hail Seungyeon, the Hammie of our heart:
Seungyeon is so cute that Pikachu just filed for unemployment.
Seungyeon’s singing is only rivaled by her sexiness.
If Seungyeon told me that I could walk on water, I’d run into a lake of piranhas.
Seungyeon’s level of cute is on such another level, it’s a different game.
Seungyeon is so sexy that Venus killed herself at the sight of her.
Seungyeon’s smile causes simultaneous heart attacks and resurrections.
Seungyeon’s legs bring more happiness than Christmas morning.
And with that, KARA has the distinction of being the first group to get entirely Waifu Wednesday’d (Gyuri, Nicole, Jiyoung and Hara have each had their moment in the spazzing sunlight). It is only appropriate, given KARA’s status as this writer’s gateway drug into the little world of madness that is K-Pop.
